Just saw 500 days of Summer after I watched Avatar which I thoroughly enjoyed. 500 days though was so much more then what I thought it was going to be. It was a great story that you can really relate to life. It just killed me and pissed me off because Summer was like leading him on and was unsure the whole time. Then thought they could be friends and Tom was supposed to be ok with that. Like she had no feelings and expected him to do the same. She also said she was not going to be someones girlfriend and yet she becomes someones wife. It's like being with someone and breaking up because one of them doesn't want kids but later you run in to them and they have but with someone else? Are you kidding me. She really just yanked tom around and he was like a hopeless romantic or a young kid infatuated with Love and Summer knew that and took advantage of it. I did not expect anything less from the cast and was giving just amazing performances. The two Leads Joseph and Zoe I knew they would be wonderful to watch on screen, as in Manic where they should great chemistry and with this movie being a very different concept showed they can play both together. Definitely the next Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci. To veterans who have played in two films together and both with terrific and that is basically what I see coming from them. A younger version of the two with lots of potential to do more. Great movie and an amazing soundtrack which I cannot stop playing Sweet Disposition by The Temper Trap. Such an amazingly infectious song!~!
